I was in search of a red bicycle today, and I'm sure you can imagine my delight when I saw a man on this one heading my way! He graciously allowed me to shoot some action shots of him.
I'm beginning to lose my fear of asking for a shot - I just try to act confident, and let my beefy looking camera do the rest of the talking. I guess I look somewhat legit :)
Most people would be so impressed with the beefy camera, and assume they are about to be part of art or a publication, so go for it! What a nice bike!
