Smoochable

Look at those cheeks! He is definitely one smoochable little guy.

Oh and for the record, the big guy's cheeks are for my smooching only ;)

Valentines

Three of my little Valentines, very pleased to receive a gift this morning!

All day, Bailey would tell me she was all full of her food, then proceed to ask for more chocolate 2 seconds later. As a result, today was a day of love...and whining.

Bailey found this sack in the basement. It instantly became her veil, she became Mary, and Wyatt was recruited to be Joseph. They got married, shared a kiss, Wyatt declared they both had rings, "so that's good!".

Honestly, I don't know what to do but turn my face so they hopefully don't see me, and laugh. Where do they come up with this stuff?! I love it.

Asleep

A sleeping baby. What a beautiful sight.
I love his rosy cheeks, he looks like a porcelain doll.

Deacon and I fell asleep on the couch together, and my wonderful husband gently woke me to remind me I still needed a picture for today. Thanks for being the perfect subject, Deacon.

Aloha

My love, enjoying a delicious cup of Kona coffee this afternoon.

My parents went to Hawaii last month, and my one request was that they bring me back some Kona beans. Yum.
Thanks, Mom and Dad!

Clever

I think Daddy is pretty taken by his little Spider-Man Baby.

I see so much mischief in that little smirk. I'm pretty sure he's laughing about how he's got us wrapped around his little finger. We are suddenly realizing how much he's calling the shots around here - mostly how he knows just what buttons to push and strings to pull so that he ends up sleeping snuggled between Mommy and Daddy at night. he is one clever seven month old! We love you, Trouble :)

Green Eggs

Wyatt doesn't like eggs, and he says it's because he doesn't like to see the yellow of the yolk. So I thought I'd be clever and make secret recipe green eggs (with spinach). He was enthusiastic about it, but after one bite he changed his mind. Probably because they still tasted like eggs...for all I know he might have been expecting them to taste like candy.

So this thumbs up is not for the eggs, but for the fact that he would get to talk to his Pappy on Skype if he ate half of what was on his plate. He did it!

Pressed

I don't love ironing. I do love my husband. And I do find him very handsome in a pressed plaid shirt. So today I finally got around to ironing his shirts for him. Plaid shirts have become a uniform of sorts for him, one that always looks good on him.

Sharkface

I bought the boys some new jammies, and they were more than happy to put on their best sharkface to celebrate their first night sleeping in them. I love these crazy kids!

Cupboard

I'm still going great guns with my house cleaning and decluttering. Today I started tackling the kitchen, and will finish up tomorrow. Here's a few of our favourite mugs, happily relocated to a different cupboard.

All this cleaning is rewarding, but am I ever wiped out! Time for bed.
