Here's Wyatt working on shelling some peanuts with Clay. We had the first of four family gatherings this evening, extended family on my mom's side. It was a great evening of visiting.
Clay and I had a delicious evening at The Keg complete with appetizers, salad, steak, potatoes, veg, dessert, and as the picture tells, beer. Rickard's Red for Clay, Newcastle for me. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but this one is a keeper.
Don't you love it when you go to a restaurant and they bring you a big basket of bread, and a plate of olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping? I do. I don't even need supper really, just the bread basket please! Well I baked my first focaccia this evening and it was delightful, and easy to boot.
Got out of the house this evening to go see what I could find. I love these snowflake lights on the Broadway Bridge, they're probably my favourite ones that the city puts up. I went mittenless, thinking I'd be fine, but it felt a lot colder than -11 out there!
Bailey is rolling her way around the house at lightning speed lately, and the perfect little gift rolled her way under the Christmas tree today, batting ornaments around and seeing how everything tastes.
Handsome little Beckett Kruz came for a visit today, what a sweetie! Bailey had a great time getting to know her little pal a little better, and I had a nice visit with his mommy :)
These cookies are SO delicious! With sour cream in the cookies and cream cheese in the frosting, they were worth the three day wait. The boys did a fabulous job decorating too!
Bailey and Violet, only a month separating their births, playing on the floor together. We finally braved the cold and got out for a visit to see Dana, Oliver, and Violet today and had such a delightful time!
