89: Puzzled

Feb27Puzzled

My little Puzzle Masters were hard at work this evening, and I forgot to have them clean up after themselves before we tucked them into bed. It's a many-times-a-day feeling to get frustrated with the mess I am constantly walking around/walking over/stubbing my toes on, but from what those older and wiser have told me, I am sure there will come a day when the house will feel too clean. I know there will come a day when I'll wish the floor showed some signs of life. So in the meantime I will try to look at the mess with a heart of joy and I praise God for the children who left the house looking like a tornado tore through it.

88: Pretty In Pink

PrettyInPink

This little gal is always full of smiles, and I'm always happy to capture them.

Her little pal Beckett came for a visit today but they're getting to be so wiggly that it's tough to get a good shot of them together. They had a great time visiting - sure I wish I knew what they were saying to each other!

87: Toque Hair

Feb25Markus
My dear oldest boy Markus, sporting a sweet hairdo thanks to his toque, in a rare moment of camera compliance. Even when his hair gets this wild, it's flat an hour later :)

I cannot believe he is going to be FOUR in less than a month! Where has the time gone?!

Feb24Nachosjpg

Ultimate nachos, ready for the oven. Supper was de-lish tonight!

MissPiggy

"Bailey's a piggy!" exclaims Wyatt in his baby talk voice.

I can't believe how long her hair is getting!

Billsbillsbills

I've spent this evening doing some major paper purging. I've got a huge stack of paper that needs to be shredded, and looking at it I thought, "Isn't bills, bills, bills the name of a Destiny's Child song?" Please understand, I'm no fan, but it's strange how silly things like this stick in your memory from a high school past one would sooner forget. "Can you pay my bills? Pay my telephone bills? Pay my automobills....I don't think you do! So...." Alright, that is definitely enough!

83: Lovebirds

Feb21Lovebirds
Meet...my mom and dad! Last month I posted a shot of a rose in honour of my parents' fortieth wedding anniversary. They were away in beautiful British Columbia at the time, visiting my sister and her family, then went to Mexico for a few weeks on a missions trip. They're finally home, and I'm so glad!

82: I Am Canadian

Canadiana

Some friends came over to hang out with our boys today so Clay and I could get out for a long overdue date (baby girl tagged along!). We went for supper at Jerry's - newly renovated and I would add, not everyone loves Jerry's...I still don't. It wasn't bad, but I didn't love it. But, we stopped at Tim Horton's for dessert and coffee on the way home. Mmmmm. I, like all Canadians, do love Tim Horton's.

81: Snow Route

Feb19SnowRoute

The theme this week on the 365 site is Sign of the Times, hence yesterday and today's sign shots.

Winter remains, and more white stuff just keeps falling. While I am able to see the beauty in the falling fresh blanket of snow, I am earnestly looking forward to the beauty of spring's arrival in a few months!

I spotted this tonight at Calories.
