I had planned on posting a picture of my handsome eldest son today, but when we woke to a blanket of hoarfrost this morning I decided to postpone his cuteness until tomorrow. This winter beauty makes the cold bearable :)

So pretty! I am a huge fan of hoarfrost. I’m actually enjoying the snow so far, maybe because it waited until December.
I never knew it was called hoarfrost – who came up with that??
haha, I don’t know who came up with it, but hoary means white with age so it must have come from that somehow.
