44: 30 Day Shred


A goal of mine this year is to train for and run in a 5k race. I am so out of shape and training for a race seems like a good, attainable goal. Something to work for. I'm not a hardcore runner though (yet), so all the snow on the ground and temperatures way below zero are reason enough to stay inside. I figure if I'm stuck inside, I might as well be doing something else to get in shape so I've got a head start once the snow is gone. Enter Jillian Michaels. Yikes. Today was day one of doing this DVD and it was killer!

    haha, well she is an intimidating trainer. I was a little bummed out that she’s so “nice” in the DVD, but even with her being nice, if I feel like I can’t do another sit up or squat and start faking it I can hear her yelling like she does on the Biggest Loser right in my ear.
