79: Ow.


Migraines for the past few days, and they pop up at the worst times. Like when I'm in the middle of making supper, which resulted in this innovative idea of putting an icepack inside a toque so I could get the job done.

    Wow, picture has the right color tint to it to make your point. Ever tried ginger? Helped my brother in law…

    Becky, I haven’t heard of using ginger for migraines. How does he take it, tea? Or just smell it? I’d be willing to give it a try.

    At first he was drinking a couple table spoons in water (yuck) but it worked and he was desperate so he drank it! He then found capsules of them at the health food store and takes two I think, when ever he has a migraine and it clears up in 20 minutes. He was on a very strong migraine med. that was messing with his heart so he had to go off and they had nothing else to offer him when he heard about ginger. Hope it helps you! Apparently they can be caused by all kinds of different things…

    Mitch – I love this picture because of the way your fingers look – they convey to me the agony – sort of tendony and grippy, like they’re in pain too. Great shot, and baby! I know how you feel, though not as often.
