I like the stark contrast in this photo of the dirty construction sight against the bold beauty of nature. My second attempt at HDR - more happy with the results this time around.

Anyone who thinks this province is boring and complains about it being flat need only set their sights a little higher to realize this is a slice of heaven on earth. Sure, it can be monotonous to drive through for hours on end, if all you're looking at is field after field whizzing by your window. But if you raise your gaze, there is nothing boring about this place.

Beautiful! I have always loved sunsets (or sunrises if I’m up in time), and I love constructions sites too(strange I know!), so I’m thinking you pretty much nailed it with this picture! 🙂

    Thanks Joanne 🙂

What incredible color. Hoping to see a few of these during our visit, perhaps some incredible sunrises too : ) Just this morning reading in Psalm 19 about the heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Amen

  4. Great shot. One of my favorites.

    Thanks Carm!
Cas, just using Photoshop (CS3) for now. Throwing around the idea of getting Photomatix – do you have it?
