My belly was apparently not measuring big enough for how far along I am in this pregnancy, so my midwife wanted me to go for another ultrasound just to ensure baby is healthy and everything is fine. All is well, baby is measuring exactly on schedule (which I take with a grain of salt given my past experience with how inaccurate late pregnancy ultrasounds are at determining baby's size), but if it makes everyone else feel as at ease as I already was then it's all good.
wow… from this angle that baby seems PLENTY big! remind me… did you mention somewhere that you’re having a home birth?

Jean, this baby FEELS plenty big too! Yes, I am planning on having a home birth, which I’ve mentioned on my other blog so maybe that’s where you read it.
Sher, I figured I’d go so that Debbie would have a clearer picture of how this pregnancy is going so she doesn’t have concerns about anything. Having become my primary midwife only a few weeks before baby is due, I can imagine she’d want to have all the bases covered.
