I wondered where I would find my shot today. Time was getting away from me and when I glanced in my side mirror, I was taken off guard by the cool clouds. I nonchalantly held the camera out the window and voila. It's nothing spectacular, but it'll do.
I've been feeling very contemplative today, looking back as I look ahead...so this shot seems rather appropriate.

After much convincing, the boys both received haircuts from Grandpa today. Don't they look handsome?
While we were getting ready to go home, they seized the opportunity to throw rocks into the huge puddle in the front yard. I asked them both to look at me and smile, and this is what I got :)

One shot today - I'm not all that happy with it, but I can't go too wrong with a girl this cute.

Clay and I picked up these art cards when we were in Seattle back in October with the intention of putting them up in our living room as a memento from our trip. We finally bought frames when we were at IKEA last month, and today I finally hung them on the wall. Worth the wait! I love how our home is slowly developing a cozy feeling. It feels good to finally be putting things on the wall and settling in...we've been here for two years, but that's the longest we've lived anywhere!

Bailey put her imagination to work with this box when we got home from Costco today, boating around the kitchen floor :) She sure looks like her big cousin in this photo - I can't believe how grown up she is getting.

Go away, migraines. You're not welcome here.
Out for the count again this afternoon. Clay came to my rescue after Bailey's naptime, only to have to leave a short while later. Here's me, doing my best to get supper on the table, wearing my sunglasses indoors - because I'm that cool. Yeah, if only that were the reason.

I cooked supper, my mom & dad came to eat with us, then we left the kitchen a complete mess and came home to sleeping children and a clean kitchen. (sigh) Time to put my feet up.

Today I was stuck in bed all day with a migraine. I'm very thankful for my mom, who came to watch the kids so I could try to sleep it off.

Pizza night at our house - today it was topped with bacon and mushrooms. While the new Little Caesar's near our house was tempting, I'm glad we made our own :)
