Longer days means that all the solar lights in the backyards on our street stay lit late into the night. They don't really cast a lot of light, but I love how they twinkle like little candles in the dark.

Chinese food for supper. We tried a new-to-us place, and while it was good, we probably won't order from there again. I don't even know why we feel the need to try different places when we have one that we really enjoy. I guess it's true what they say, variety is the spice of life!

I'm a Scrabble fan, but this Super Scrabble edition was a bit much for me: the board's twice as big, there are twice as many letters, and yes, it takes twice as long to play. I guess without my kids dividing my attention I might have enjoyed it more... because then I might have won :P

150: Y U M

Four out of five surveyed at our supper table agreed that this was delicious. The one who disagreed is 2 years old - he doesn't agree with much these days.

I picked Jamie's Food Revolution up yesterday and this Macaroni and Cauliflower Cheese Bake looked way too yummy not to make - I just substituted bow ties for mac.
Little Miss Bailey seems to be growing up so quickly lately! She crawls with fierce determination and speed wherever she needs to go, pulls herself up to standing with the furniture and at the bottom of the stairs, drinks milk out of a straw cup, loves to chat and giggle, and as is evident in this picture, is independently feeding herself.

Don't you love her crazy ponytail?!

My dear husband, working hard coding a website. All I know is that I don't know what that means, but that he's really good at it!

Don't waste your life chasing after treasures that will end up stored away in boxes.
We were at Mom and Dad's today to celebrate my big brother Steve's birthday. Here he is lighting his many candles that I so graciously supplied for a perfect photo op for today!

145: Sky

This is the shot I was wanting to get a few days ago, and the clouds cooperated with my efforts today. I don't know if it turned out as well as I had hoped it would, but the sky looks amazing!

144: Faithful

"You have been more faithful than the morning sun
You have been more faithful than knowing night will come
You have been more faithful than the changing of seasons."
