143: Cancel

I had a plan for what I was going to photograph today, and didn't get around to taking that shot while I still had daylight for it. Cancel that idea. Well, I guess I'll file it away for another day.

142: Bubbles

The joy of being two.
I had hoped to get a whimsical shot of one of my boys blowing bubbles in the breeze, but alas, my aperture was far too big and the shots were horribly over exposed. Chalk it up as a lesson learned for today I guess. That's what this is all about, right?

Over the past few days, Bailey has mastered the art of pulling herself up. Hopefully she'll save climbing the stairs for a few months though! Here she is trying to figure out how she can get her big brother who is watching her from the landing above.
My poor husband! And gracious, to let me post this photo :)

Wyatt, enjoying a beautiful spring day at Uncle Kel and Auntie Sherry's house!

138: Model Me

Clay's away today so I thought I would get a shot of my beautiful face for him to see before he drifts off to sleep....hehehe

Okay honestly, I was going for something that looks a little more genuinely me, but getting the focus just right for a self-portrait using a big aperture with a self-timer....well, let's just say I have some practicing to do. This is one of the few that came out clearly. So here you have me - model edition. Don't you love the smoldering look in my eyes?

We had a bunch of friends over for games this evening, and we played Pictionary using the photo channel on the Wii. It made for an interesting game, that's for sure!

136: Sleepyhead

Falling asleep on the couch in the middle of the day is a sure sign that this young man is not feeling like himself. Poor guy. He's such a trooper though.

135: Bookworm

Little Miss Boo, who seems more intent on eating books than reading them at this point. Bible stories....she picked a good book to devour!

It was a rainy day today. A perfect soup day. So here's just a quick snap of what I threw together for supper. This was my first real attempt at winging it with soup, and it was amazing. I have dubbed it Roasted Red Pepper Chicken Noodle Soup (what a mouthful!) and will definitely attempt it again!
