P.M.

I really hope I start feeling creative soon, because this end of the day shooting thing is getting old.

Baking

I love days that I don't have to think about making supper, and am free to just bake. Today I made blueberry scones, and a strawberry-apple crisp.

Plan It

I really like being organized. That said, I have been so disorganized for the past...oh, 9 months? Yesterday I was on a budgeting rampage, and today I attacked the menu plan.

Spring Line-Up

These 3 pairs of rubber boots belong to the three sweetest kids I've ever known. I love being their mom.

Tea Time

We should really be sleeping already, but I had yet to take a photo, and Clay still had to post his, so we're awake. Tea time before bed I suppose. Chai for him, and red raspberry leaf for me...

Going Nuts

It's really true that if you leave the unhealthy snacks at the grocery store and have healthy stuff in your house instead, you'll eat it. Actually, I even have ice cream in the freezer, but this evening I found myself reaching for the almonds yet again. Whether I'm just feeling snacky, or severely low on energy and needing a quick boost, this little nutritional powerhouse comes through. Loads of protein...and yes, fat. But good fat. And hey, I'm feeding a baby as well.

Therapy

After a tremendous amount of pain in my hips today (thanks, pregnancy hormones, for loosening everything up so well), I stumbled my way to the bathtub for a soak. Clay set me up with the iPad so I could get yelled at by Mark Driscoll - definitely a good way to end the day.

Pure

The juice cupboard has been restocked.
Bailey will be a happy little camper.

Growing

Hello third trimester.
There is a reality that sets in when I reach this stage of pregnancy. As the kicks get stronger and more frequent, my joints get looser, and and it becomes increasingly harder to pull myself up off the floor, it dawns on me that I won't be pregnant forever and there really will be a baby arriving in a few short months. My nesting urge is kicking into gear...

Nightfall

I'm off to bed. I've got to stop leaving my photo to the end of the day...
